Every place we move we have bears in the yard.\u00a0\u00a0 Today we had two of them, but it took a few minutes to figure it out.\u00a0 A mom and last years’ baby were smelling the bird seeds in our fenced yard.<\/p>\n

The adult female, very fat. She should be sleeping!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Circling<\/a>

Circling the house, trying to decide how scary it is.<\/p><\/div>\n

First, Oro told us about a bear, and that scared the first one off into the bushes.\u00a0 Then I saw the bear come up the hill, next to the storage shed outside the fence.\u00a0 Sniffing.\u00a0 Rats!!\u00a0 The bird feeders have been spotted.\u00a0 The bear was nervous and headed away from the yard, towards the neighbors.\u00a0 Well that was exciting.\u00a0 First bear since we’ve moved here, and somewhat unusual.\u00a0 People do see bears around here, but very rarely.<\/p>\n

Then Terry hurt our ears.\u00a0 She has a different view point looking north and out the windows on the front of the house.\u00a0 That’s where we saw the adult, way across the lawn and down from the house.\u00a0 We went out on the deck and talked to her and she disappeared in the brush, only to reappear a minute later by the storage shed again.\u00a0 Then I saw another bear on the other side of the fence by the garage.\u00a0 Two!!\u00a0 Obviously a mom and her cub.<\/p>\n

Dang it.\u00a0 Can’t get away from these guys.\u00a0 And they smell the seeds \ud83d\ude41\u00a0 I guess we’re probably going to find out how tough this fence is tonight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
