sunshine on the snow&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The temperature outside isn&#8217;t what you&#8217;d consider balmy, being +24F, but the sunshine more than makes up for it.\u00a0 It feels wonderful!\u00a0 The birds think so too.\u00a0 Going outside on the front deck, the sounds of spring have begun to arrive.\u00a0 Robins are bupping, chickadees and Juncos are singing, woodpeckers of all sorts are drumming, Song Sparrow is singing, and more species will be arriving every new day.\u00a0 We expect the Spotted Towhee and Meadowlarks back next, any time now.<\/p>\n<div year, brisk and clean and completely invigorating.\u00a0 Our plan is to go for a three-mile walk today on our loop route down by the river.\u00a0 The wind isn&#8217;t blowing and it should be above freezing by the time we set out.\u00a0 It makes our spirits rise to see the air so full of sunshine.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_355\" style=\"width: 470px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fairies.\u00a0\u00a0 He loves to sleep next to my chair with his nose in my slippers.\u00a0 It must be comfortable, or something, but it looks ridiculous.<\/p>\n<p>He has woken up from this little nap and right now he&#8217;s hiding under the small rug by the sliding glass doors onto the deck, watching the jays feasting on leftover banana pancakes that Dan put out for them this morning.\u00a0\u00a0
