A Ruby-crowned Kinglet decided to challenge his reflection in our living room windows.<\/p>\n

Normally the red spot on top of his head is not visible. You have to be very close to see it.<\/p><\/div>\n

Dancing, dancing, bouncing from twig to branch, to windowsill.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Bright eyed and busy.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

And then his head exploded!<\/p><\/div>\n

Woo hoo!<\/p><\/div>\n

Just so excited.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>

Dancing on the windowsill.<\/p><\/div>\n

At first the Kinglet would jump when Mishkin jumped at the window, but then he figured out he was not in any danger and then he said, “Oh yeah!!\u00a0 Tough guy.\u00a0 Bring it on.”\u00a0 Bounce bounce bounce.\u00a0 This went on for hours the first day, until finally Mishkin was lying flat out on the floor under the window, complaining about there ain’t no justice.\u00a0 The next day, Mish wouldn’t even go to the window, just yelled at the bird.\u00a0 And today, not even bothering to yell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
