And we thought, no way, it&#039;s gonna rain.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Then, a couple of hours later, with a fresh inch of snow on the ground, Dan headed outside to split some firewood, and we watched the temperature drop 9 degrees.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2313\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/04\/apr6-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2313\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2313\" title=\"apr6-2\" src=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/04\/apr6-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"335\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2313\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The sidewalk was still clear of snow, so how bad could it be??  <\/p><\/div>\n<p>Another couple of hours have passed, and it is still snowing, and now we have a good fat two inches of new snow.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2314\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/04\/apr6-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2314\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2314\" title=\"apr6-3\" src=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/04\/apr6-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"335\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2314\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">We can&#039;t see the hills across from us, the snow is falling so thick and fast.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>But on the upside, the snowshoe hares which are still white are quite pleased with the state of the universe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s too early to think about gardening!!!\u00a0 And don&#8217;t take that snowplow off the Ranger&#8230;.
