It&#8217;s not that cold outside, barely above freezing, and the house is too warm to have a fire in the wood stove in the living room, so the cook stove in the kitchen is doing double duty &#8211; fixing food and keeping the house warm.\u00a0 I&#8217;m sitting in the kitchen with my laptop and using wireless satellite internet.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll ever get tired of being amused by the particular juxtaposition of technologies employed when I&#8217;m doing that!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2254\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/03\/snowmar27-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2254\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2254\" title=\"snowmar27-1\" src=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/03\/snowmar27-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"335\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2254\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The plum tree&#039;s bare branches catch the snowfall and it transforms into a lacy work of art.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_2255\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/03\/snowmar27-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2255\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2255\" title=\"snowmar27-2\" src=\"http:\/\/mtnmacaw.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/03\/snowmar27-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"335\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2255\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Our sidewalk is completely white again, as is any bare ground.  The sun isn&#039;t above the mountains behind us quite yet.
